In this week’s spotlight, we illuminate rays on a special recording artist, Pabrymo who is signed to Woke entertainment and has a distribution deal with distro company, Dvpper music.
Pabrymo is a Nigerian born-Cape town based Afrobeats artist, fashion enthusiast, and all round creative from Benin city. Pabrymo is not new to the music space, as he has been in the game for quite a while. However in 2021, his music career saw the glimpse of a breakthrough via the relative hit single ‘Odoo(ya pa pa)’ which featured Marlian Music act, Zinoolesky.
Following the hit collaboration, he went on to work with various acts and released singles like ‘Overload (Kala)’, ‘1 of 1’ featuring Teni. His debut project, “Never stop vol 1” was released in 2022.
The project contained songs like ‘One Bottle’, ‘Romance’ and guest appearances from Boj, Majeed, Bad boy Timz, Psycho YP, Mohbad, Jay teaser and fellow Dvppermusic acts like Ti blaze, and Balloranking.
Pabrymo is passionate about his music and loves to express his creativity through his music, fashion and video appearances.
His latest body of work is an extended play titled “City boy” as he is fondly called. The five track project features top acts like Ekelebe stunner himself, Odumodublvck, Rasaqi NFG, Minz, Kida Kudz and dvppermusic act , Seyi vibez.
When asked on his inspiration behind the Ep, Pabrymo says his mantra comes from perspectives. With the main perspective being a boy from Benin city doing what he loves most and attaining a desired level of success.
