On December 27, 2022, the grounds at Untamed Empire in Accra thudded with the beats of Detty Rave, as over 11,000 celebrators gathered to celebrate the best of Afrodance music. Hosted
by Mr Eazi, the event marked a triumphant return in 2022 after a hiatus forced by COVID-19 restrictions. Known for featuring top DJs and international superstars, the 2023 edition promised an electrifying blend of energy and style on stage.

Manifestivities Celebrates Five Decades of Hip Hop Bliss.

Sponsored by Hennessy, Manifestivities 2023 took music enthusiasts on a nostalgic journey through the roots of Hip Hop on December 17, 2023. The event celebrated five decades of Hip Hop music and culture, featuring an impressive lineup including M.anifest, Show Dem Camp, LADIPOE, and more. Attendees reveled in rap and dance battles, DJ showcases, and a Hip Hop Art Exhibition titled “The Culture: Beats, Rhymes, and Representation.”

SoulBeach at PoloBeach Club: Unforgettable Night of Music

The concert, following the success of its predecessor, featured a star-studded lineup of Ghana’s top musicians, delivering a sensational experience for fans.

AfroFuture Fest Unifying Through Music

Formerly known as Afrochella, AfroFuture Fest returned on December 28-29 at El Wak Sports Stadium with headliners Davido and Black Sherif. Sponsored by TuneCore, YouTube, and Jameson, the festival explored the theme “Black Unification & Pan-Africanism,” emphasizing global connections and shared experiences among African people. The 2022 lineup included Burna Boy, King Promise, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale, offering a rich variety of African music.

Sarkodie’s Musical Triumph, Rapperholic Rebirth

Ghanaian rap legend, Sarkodie, marked the eleventh year of his Rapperholic concert series with a triumphant return on December 25, 2023. Held at the Grand Arena of the International Conference Center, the event showcased Sarkodie’s musical prowess and paid tribute to his late confidante and lawyer, Cynthia Quarcoo.
